This three-centimeter square trader's seal found at Shortugai in 1978 bears the image of a rhinoceros which directly links it to the Harappan cities of the Indus Valley that emerged some four thousand years ago and by 2,600-1,900 BCE were flourishing on regional trade. Seals identified the authorized shipper and confirmed his legal ownership.
