Christian Cemetery (Kabra Ghora) ca. 1879.

The Christian Cemetery lies a few blocks north of the Sherpur Mosque in the Qala-i-Fatullah Khan sector of Kabul. This was just to the west of the military cantonment established by the British during the Second Anglo-Afghan War (1878-1880). At the time Afghans referred to British soldiers as Ghora.
