Dashli Excavations. Jauzjan Province.
14 November 1975
The Dashli Oasis includes some 41 archaeological sites in an area of about 100 km. that lies between the Amu Darya and the Hindu Kush. The two important excavation sites are Dashli 1 and Dashli 3, some 41 km northeast of Aqcha. Dashli 1 dates to the Late Bronze Age in the last half of the 2nd millennium BCE and was abandoned and then used as a cemetery.
