Obsidian Truncated Microblade. Dasht-i-Nawur, Ghazni Province.

1976
Because no tools were found on the slope of the hill nor more than 30 meters from the edge of it, and, because a very small number of cores and core fragments were found compared to the high proportion of retouched pieces, it would seem that relatively little manufacture of tools took place here. This would suggest that Dasht-i-Nawur was even then primarily a nomadic camping site as it is today. Because of the unsettle situation since 1978 no further investigations have been possible.
