Much was irretrievably lost by the 1993 rocket attack. The west wing built in the 70s to house unique 5th century C.E. wall paintings once adorning buildings in the northern Kushano-Sassasian city at Delberjin Tepe, as well as those from Dashli Tepe (see below), was totally gutted. Objects from the eastern-most Greek city at Ai Khanoum and a recently found Hindu Shahimarble were also lost.
