Kolola Pushta Fort Overlooking Gardens of Shahr-i-Naw.
December 1976
While the royal elite built homes around Abdur Rahman's new citadel/palace after 1883, the middle class moved in along the borders of the green meadow called Chaman-e-Wazirabad. They built mostly single-storied houses surrounded by spacious lawns and gardens where families gathered at the end of the day for tea and chatting with friends and neighbors.
