The head in the previous image was later reclaimed from a stolen art dealer in Peshawar by Abdullah Poyan from the Ministry of Culture on the recommendation of the distinguished expert, Professor Dani, after they had reviewed some 500 objects. It had been badly damaged but retains a certain amount of charm.
