Amir Abdur Rahman Period: Prince Nasrullah's Zain ul-Emorat 1895.
1920s
On his return to Kabul at the end of 1895, Prince Nasrullah began to construct his palace according to the design of Dorchester House on 16 acres south-east of the Arg that had been allotted to him by the Amir. Named Zain ul-Emorat (????), the south façade faced a pool with a fountain. Black and white Souvenir postcard printed in Paris in the 1920s.
