The Other Side of the Mountain - West From Deh Mazang Circle.

1969
Property damage on the north side of a broad street running west from Deh Mazang Circle was relatively light. However, on the south side once known for its cinema and handicraft workshops producing the embroidered, fur-lined leather coats so acclaimed by the international fashion world in the 1960s was left in utter ruin after the 1990s civil war attacks. This section is slowly being replaced by a gigantic edifice that sits unfinished because construction work has dwindled during the 2000s due to a severe slump in the property market. Unfinished high rises now (2016) mar every sections of the city.
