Amir Abdur Rahman Period: Pavilion Bagh-i-Babur 1883.

1995
Several diagnostic decorative features characteristic of the Amir's other buildings were employed here, such as the many-petaled fanlights over doors and windows and the four-meter wide pillared verandah with tall wooden arches that encircled the pavilion on all sides. Most notable were the ceiling decorations made from small metal panels artistically stenciled in a style popular during the 19th century. Not many examples survived into the 20th century. Those that did almost disappeared during the years of conflict to come.
