The Kabul Museum.

1987
Amir Abdur Rahman and Amir Habibullah collected regalia, weapons, and accoutrements inlaid with gold and precious stones which, along with a number of curiosities from Nuristan, were housed for a short time in Bagh-i-Bala and then in Koti Baghcha inside the Arg. It was then named the Kabul Museum. In 1931, however, the collections were moved to this building that had been built in 1919 as a town hall in King Amanullah’s rising new city at Darulaman, some 8 km. from the center of Kabul.
