Ceilings at the office were adorned with stenciled metal panels finely painted with floral designs in the elegant style so popular in the 19th century. Another hall had an elaborately carved wooden ceiling with silver-tipped wooden pendants which is very sophisticated. Not many such ceilings are to be seen elsewhere today.
