Amir Abdur Rahman Period: Shahrara (City's Adornment) Palace 1899.

At Shahrara the Amir experimented with a new style combining a pillared pavilion recalling the pavilion at Bagh-e-Babur attached to an imposing octagonal tower surmounted by a dome encircled by a balcony onto which many glazed windows and doors open. The pavilion verandah was 4 meters wide; the end room attached to the tower 8x8 meters, and the central hall 10x15 meters. and the diameter of the tower was 11 meters. Souvenir postcard printed in Paris in the 1920s.
