Amir Habibullah Period: Qasre Stor (Star Building) I 1902.
ca. 1902
While these family edifices were being constructed, foreign officials visiting Kabul steadily increased. A place to meet was needed. At first, this small, one-storey bungalow office not far from the Arg handled foreign affairs. Built in 1902 it is surrounded with verandahs in the style of Amir Abdur Rahman's pavilions, although the roof definitely suggests later renovation according to Amir Habibullah's style. The legend identifies it simply as the Stor. Souvenir postcard printed in Paris in the 1920s.
