All the early 2nd to 4th century Hadda heads are remarkably expressive and lively in their portrayal of a wide array of realistic portraits of all the ethnic groups from far off lands flocking to visit Jalalabad in its prime. This intense, bearded aesthetic is a superb example (h. ).
