Bagh-i-Umomi (Public Garden).
1928
Ladies enjoyed visits to the gardens in the afternoon when the band played. They wore light diaphanous veils introduced by Queen Soraya to replace the head-to-toe chadri or Burqa. No woman wearing the full head-to-toe burqa was allowed to enter the Park.
