Paintings Over Seated Buddha in Cliffs East of The Large Buddha.

1973
The much damaged remains of a painting over the head of the seated Buddha in the middle of this vast expanse are clearly Sassanian in style. They are very similar to the fresco from the Kakrak Valley now in the National Museum.
