Bone Plaque From Begram. Kapisa Province.
1981
Some scenes were incised on bone (h. 8 cm), but the subjects were the same. Here the courtesan holds a cup in her left hand while sitting on a wicker stool with a cushion. The details of the wicker stool, earrings and the numerous bracelets, the girdle and heavy anklets are very clear, as is the prominent hair-do that is almost identical in all the plaques. Traces of red and black color were also sometimes found.
